Opendoor ranked the hottest neighborhoods for homebuying in markets across the country last year. The company analyzed information from the local Multiple Listing Services where Opendoor brokerages operate. The ZIP codes were listed based on the total number of homes that went into contract within 90 days of listing in 2021.
Opendoor Dallas general manager Sharon Brown said residents in the metroplex can find affordable options and sizable upgrades without having to stray too far from DFW.
“Whether you thrive in a bustling urban setting or prefer a quiet residential suburb with a more laid-back vibe, Dallas-Fort Worth has something for everyone,” Brown said in a statement. “We’re continuing to see an influx of out-of-state buyers relocating to Texas which is great for our economy and culture. We’re also seeing increased interest in areas surrounding the metroplex, including northern pockets like McKinney and Frisco, and areas like Keller, Forney, and Burleson.”
A report found that the top 10 zip codes in Dallas include:
- 76226: Argyle and parts of Northlake
- 75072: The Fairway Village neighborhood in McKinney
- 76028: Most of Burleson and Cross Timbers
